About Lilly
Lilly Rockwell is a freelance writer and journalist based in Tallahassee, Florida. Lilly writes for magazines, newspapers and Web sites as well as corporate and PR writing.

Lilly, a former journalist for large newspapers in Florida, Texas and Kansas and a newswire service in Washington, D.C., is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

From 2006 to 2009, Lilly worked as a reporter for the Austin American-Statesman where she was a business beat reporter. She covered Fortune 500 companies such as grocery chain Whole Foods Market Inc. and emerging industries, such as video gaming and biotechnology.

She also has written about state and national politics, local campaigns, the Florida Legislature, and the U.S. Congress.

In addition to her work as a freelance writer, Lilly also is a staff writer for Rowland Publishing, owner of lifestyle magazines such as Tallahassee, Emerald Coast and Bay Life magazines, as well as 850, the business magazine for Northwest Florida.

In her free time, Lilly enjoys reading, watching reality television and long-distance running. She is also the founder of the Texas Exes Tallahassee network for University of Texas alumni.
